US President Donald Trump told a press conference on Friday that he will not cut a deal with Democrats on the coronavirus relief bill because of the money they are seeking for cities and states.
“If Democrats give us what we want, would agree to $25 billion for the postal service.”
“Waiting for Democrats to approve action before treasury moves forward with coronavirus relief checks.”
“COVID-19 vaccines should probably go to the elderly and most vulnerable first, the administration is compiling lists now.”
“I hope the vaccine announced by Russia will work.”
The US Dollar Index inched slightly higher after these comments and was last seen losing 0.14% on the day at 93.11.
